Rebekah Fletcher
Rebekah Fletcher is the Children’s Attorney with Volunteer Advocates for Immigrant Justice (VAIJ) in Seattle. She provides direct representation as well as recruits and mentors pro bono attorneys to represent detained and released immigrant youth before the Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and Washington dependency court. Rebekah has worked on behalf of children for over 10 years, including in the domestic foster care system and international adoption. Rebekah is a graduate of The City U. of New York School of Law. During law school she represented clients in removal proceedings through CUNY’s Main Street Legal Services and held internships at the New York Immigration Court, removal defense firm Bretz&Coven, Human Rights Watch, Lawyers for Children, and with a New York City Child Protective Judge.
