For the past eight years, Sierra Rowe has been a social worker in the Refugee and Immigrant Children’s Program (www.refugeechildren.net) of Lutheran Community Services NW. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington. Sierra speaks Spanish fluently and has served Latino children while working with LCSNW. She has worked with many Central American youth whose stories resemble those featured in “Which Way Home.” She is constantly inspired by the great courage, strength and resiliency that these young people show throughout their life journeys.
