DeAnn Adams
DeAnn Adams is Program Manager of Friends of Youth’s El Puente program, which provides residential support and independent living services for male adolescents, primarily from Mexico and Central America. Prior to receiving her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Washington, DeAnn interned with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, doing community outreach and helping clients petition for permanent residency. 1997-1998, she worked at Children’s Administration with DSHS in Seattle. For the next six years, she was a social worker with the Refugee & Immigrant Children’s Program at Lutheran Community Services NW.
