Joel Ngugi (moderator)
Joel Ngugi is a professor at the University of Washington School of Law. Professor Ngugi’s research interests include the role of law in economic development, the role of governments in market regulation and wealth allocation, and legal reforms in developing economies. Amongst the courses he has taught are Human Rights, International Organizations, Comparative and International Law Survey, Race and the Law, and Contracts. Professor Ngugi has worked with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and conducted research for the Global Coalition for Africa/World Bank, Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research at Harvard University, and Global Trade Watch Division of Public Citizens, Inc. in Washington, DC.
